“Let this book greet you, as it has me, with insight, tenderness and practical assistance…. There is a kindness and generosity in this collection. And a call for honesty. ‘The truth will set you free,’ it is written. The wisdom here will show you the way. You will find renewal in these pages, empowering you for love of self and love of others.” —from the Introduction by The Rev. Canon Marianne Wells Borg
Old wounds can bind up your heart and keep you from fully loving—and fully living—in the present. Your pain may come from devastating trauma or unconscious resentment from accumulated everyday grievances. No matter the depth of the hurt, true healing comes from the courage to face the past and begin the process of letting go. These offerings of warmth and wisdom from many different faiths, backgrounds and perspectives will encourage you to begin your own journey toward the wholeness and freedom that comes from true forgiveness.

I would love to read what Ron wrote but can’t afford the $18.99 for the book right now — maybe after the holidays. Any chance of sharing a portion or the highlights of what he wrote on the Ron Miller’s World website? He always brought balance to whatever equation was being considered. How I miss his wisdom and insight, not to mention that captivating delivery of his thoughts and results of his research. It’s so hard to accept that he’s gone, in one sense. But this book provides the comfort that his spirit is still among us and speaks to our minds and hearts.
Love your Enemies… Ron’s piece was a translation from Matthew 5:43-48.
